Bremerhaven turned into a living snow dome overnight: the streets are slithery, our trouser legs are
soaked
and the three-master apparently changed into a ghost ship!
Luckily the museum isn't too far away. We first see impressive pictures how a cog must have
looked
at that time, before we see the famous exhibit of the museum: the restored cog from 1380. It is so huge
that
it
even reaches the first floor.
On our way home we won't rely on those usual "20 minutes" and take the bus…it's way too snowy outside
and after having had Chinese we certainly don't feel like walking.
The trip was awesome, funny and instructive
[ firstly : never trust a guy from Bremerhaven telling you that something's only 20 minutes away; secondly:
never
visit
the library of the University of Cologne, except if you want to meet a couple of odd deadbeats
that live
between the
bookshelves, and thirdly: you don't necessarily have to take a car for the trip because you actually
can get a seat
from
Bremerhaven back to Wuppertal, even if it is a Friday evening and you haven't booked].
As picture 18 already showed: Dr. Hofmann not only is "the first choice for Bremen", but also when it's
about travelling.
We all certainly had a great time!!!
